CFUW-Hamilton Funds the Following Scholarships

McMaster University
The Past President’s Prize- $1,000
The CFUW- Hamilton Scholarship – $2,000
The Memorial Prize in Political Science – $1,000

Brock University
The CFUW-Hamilton Scholarship – $500

Mohawk College
The CFUW-Hamilton Bursary-$1,000

Scholarship Fund Description

CFUW-Hamilton annually offer five scholarships to women enrolled in McMaster & Brock Universities and Mohawk College programs.

The Scholarship Fund is sustained through fundraising efforts such as our annual Author’s Night, individual donations, bequests and memorial gifts.

Tax receipts are issued for contributions over $10, and the entire amount is applied to the scholarships.

A portion of our annual membership fee is transferred the the Charitable Trust, a scholarship program managed by the National CFUW Office, for women pursuing post-granduate studies

  2. All of our scholarships are administered by the college or university. To find out more about the Mohawk College Bursary please contact the awards office of Mohawk College for details.
