Last year CFUW undertook a survey about CFUW/UWC club’s advocacy work locally, provincially, nationally and internationally. After several months of compilation, the results are now in! Consult the survey report to find out more about clubs’ interest and work on advocacy issues!

Our topic for the evening is Body Brave: Transforming Illness Experience into Social Action.
Body Brave is a local not-for-profit founded by Dr.Karen Trollope-Kumar and her daughter Sonia Kumar to provide support and advocacy for people struggling with eating disorders. Learn how they transformed a difficult personal journey into helping others facing similar struggles.

The CFUW Charitable Trust is presenting a Webinar on Saturday, October 13th, at 1:30pm EDT for a special presentation on the experiences of Indigenous Women in the pursuit of post-secondary education.
This webinar is offered to members in lieu of the CFUW Charitable Trust fundraising event at an AGM. The webinar is free. However donations are always appreciated.
