CFUW Hamilton Scholarship 2015-16 Commitment

CFUW-Hamilton offers scholarships to students enrolled in  McMaster University , Brock University and Mohawk College. Our Scholarship Fund is sustained through fundraising efforts such as our annual Author Night, donations , bequests and memorials. Tax receipts are issued issued for donations over $10, and the entire amount is applied to the scholarships.

Bryan Prince Bookseller, Ronsdale Press and Nimbus Publishing present an evening with Hamilton authors, Jean Rae Baxter (Hope’s Journey) and David S. New (An Ordinary Hero).

The authors will discuss the research and challenges involved in writing books with a historical basis: in this case,Loyalist History (Jean) and the biography of a Hamilton-born WWII spitfire pilot (David).
