Whitehern Women: Life and Times -a Women’s History Month event
Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 1 PM – 2:30 PM EDT
The McQuestens grew up during the Victorian era when social expectations for women were changing. This family made major contributions to our city but also faced challenges which we still struggle with today such as mental health issues, addiction, and poverty.
Participants at this event will have an opportunity to learn what happened to the women in this notable family.
