Thanks to our guest speaker Marina Endicott , CFUW-Hamilton , had another successful “Scholarship Fund” fundraising event. If you missed the evening, Marina was “terrific, very personable and entertaining”. We also extend our thanks to our  Author Night Committee  and Bryan Prince Booksellers . All of whom worked hard to make the evening a success.

  Tickets are $15 at the door or at Bryan Prince Bookseller 905-528-4508 and online at eventbrite.ca ( a small service fee applies to online purchases)    This event supports the CFUW Hamilton Scholarship Fund a registered charity providing scholarships and educational prizes since 1925  

The Cresmont has advised that effective April 2016 they will no longer be able to accommodate evening meetings. Arrangements have been made to meet, instead, at the Spectator Auditorium. We recently became aware that long time CFUW-Hamilton member Ethel Lapp underwent surgery this week at the Juravinski to repair a badly broken femur . She came through the procedure nicely but will face a long recovery period.

Violence against women is pervasive and affects all sectors of society. CFUW-Hamilton offers its support to women in distress with it’s support to Inasmuch House in Hamilton.
